My son is one of so many doing virtual school right now. Our days are quiet and mostly indoor starting at a screen unfortunately. But when I went to check on a critter cam the other day, I almost stepped on this little guy.
I called for my son, who came rushing out and promptly named this turtle Lawrence. My son had a 5 minute break, so we sat and watched our friend explore. Oreo, one of our cats was also quite curious.
Lawrence stuck around a bit when we had to go back inside. I peeked through the door as the turtle made its way toward the veggie garden.
We hope Lawrence returns soon!
