This butterfly species started it all. I read about Milkweed rapidly declining. Monarchs were becoming sparse. We had a great spot to start a backyard sanctuary. And so the research began. It is not easy figuring out what plants to grow in Central Florida. Especially if you want to be native or nearly native and a true sanctuary.
